We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join us as relief support workers. We currently have opportunities available at our Residential and Supported Living services in Clifton.
Relief posts are completely flexible; you choose the hours you want to work, covering staff holidays and absence.
About the Role
Covering leave, training and sickness within our services, with hours that fit in with life’s other commitments; this is an ideal way of discovering if this is the career for you. As we provide 24/7 support you can choose to work shifts which may be days, weekends, nights or Bank Holidays.
You will be welcomed in to the team and coached along the way and will also receive outstanding training for your role.
As a Relief Worker you will be working to our philosophy of Person Centred Active Support, empowering adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a huge range of everyday tasks including personal care, leisure activities, making choices and leading fulfilling independent lives.
No previous experience of support work or any special qualifications are needed for this job - you’ll get a comprehensive induction, full training and support along the way. You’ll need to have good communication and listening skills. Basic IT skills are also essential.
