About the role

Are you looking to use your creativity and design skills for a positive purpose? We’re looking for a graphic designer to join our busy team!

Reporting into our Senior Communications Manager (Marketing & Brand) you will be responsible for designing a variety of high-quality materials, working creatively within our recently refreshed brand guidelines.

As our in-house designer you will lead on the design, production and delivery of a range of on-brand marketing materials. This will include print materials, such as flyers and brochures, as well as promotional items, signage and digital assets for our website and social media channels.

Whilst part of the Marketing and Brand team, you will also work across Hft’s wider Communications and Marketing team to create materials for internal and external audiences, as well as providing brand approval for  key internal stakeholders including our fundraising and recruitment teams.

About you

We are looking for a designer with experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector, with bags of creativity and the ability to come up with new and exciting ideas which will help promote the Hft brand.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop this role and make a real impact on our communications.

With a degree in a design-related subject, and relevant experience, you will provide a professional in-house studio service, treating colleagues as ‘internal clients’, and supporting and clarifying their design briefs.

You will be working on a number of design requests at any one time, so the ability to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and manage stakeholders effectively is essential.

If you have experience of delivering large and small design projects in InDesign or other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and of designing for both print and digital, please get in touch.

Copywriting experience would be also be a welcome bonus!
